These images are actually screenshots taken from footage on Bill Viola's Ascending Angels. What i love about them is the colour grading used with the lighting that is present. I find the way that the colours represent the manner of the characters in the shot creates a huge dynamic range of the complete shoot. I like the idea of using this technique of colour grading to change a scene to specifically the manner that i want it to look like.
I'm going to incorporate this within my next shoot, color grading the photographs as part of experimentation.
